Mexican bank Banorte and Oxxo Agreement Signed
MONTERREY, Nuevo Leon (La Silla Rota) .- OXXO and Grupo Financiero Banorte signed an alliance with which, as of September 26, Banorte customers can perform operations such as deposits and payments on cards in more than 14,000 stores OXXO has in the country, from 8:00 to 20:00, 365 days a year.
Banorte customers will have the opportunity to make account deposits and debit cards for a maximum of 5,000 pesos per transaction, with a maximum amount of up to 21 thousand pesos per day. They can also make payments to credit cards for a maximum of 5,000 pesos per operation without a daily limit amount.
"In OXXO we seek to satisfy all the needs of our customers, from a craving to conduct banking transactions. We are interested in helping them optimize their time and why we signed this partnership with Grupo Financiero Banorte to expand our network of correspondents, so that in this way can transact in more places safely, "said Asensio Carrion Martinez, Director of Financial Services OXXO .

With this network we reach a greater number of municipalities and serve in days and longer hours that branches, "said Hector Abrego Perez, Deputy Director General for Development and Innovation Canales, Grupo Financiero Banorte.
Through this alliance, Banorte correspondent network includes more than 23,000 service points. More than 14,000 points will be through OXXO.
Thanks to this agreement, OXXO offers correspondent banking and eight banks in Mexico, which will cover 75% of cardholders in the country. While GFBanorte is present in 1,488 municipalities through the figure of correspondents in nine other retail chains.
