A man armed with a knife and covered his face with a mask of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, stabbed a woman in her home on the west coast of Florida, police said Monday.
The Police Department Cape Coral in Lee County, said the woman, identified as Shannon L. Molloy, was attacked by a man who tried to rob her, and who is wanted by the police, reported Channel 25 WPBF News.
Molloy told the authorities for fear of strange noises heard in the courtyard of his house in recent weeks, he decided to take a knife during their smoking breaks before bedtime.
The woman said that while smoking, a stranger approached him and asked "money and drugs."
Molloy said the man, dressed in black clothes and mask, grabbed the knife and stabbed her in the stomach, then let the tool and run.
The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital, where his injury was classified as life-threatening. (With information from Notimex)
